The new Fact Sheet defining the 30 criteria for evaluating CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in public procurement in Canton Ticino has been published (Art. 32 para. 1 LCPubb | Art. 53 para. 2-4 RLCPubb/CIAP).
According to the law, the developer awards contracts to the most advantageous bid considering criteria such as timeliness, quality, price, reliability, cost-effectiveness, customer service, environmental and social sustainability.
The corporate social responsibility criterion, with a weight of 4 percent, evaluates companies’ efforts toward economic, environmental and social sustainability.
These efforts are evaluated through the simplified sustainability report of the Canton Ticino Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Services.
